To clean a thing from stains and remove stains, such as resin, special preliminary manipulations will be required, since the usual detergent that is added to the machine may not be able to cope with the task.

For example, any dishwashing detergent can remove a greasy stain from a synthetic winterizer jacket. It should be applied to dirty places, foamed and left for a while before washing in the machine.

Fresh stains of dirt are easy to remove with Anti-Stain. It will perfectly cope with rust, greasy marks, as well as traces of cosmetics, tea or coffee.

If there are greasy spots on the jacket, they must be treated with at least laundry soap.

Leaving the jacket after treatment with this agent should not just be for such a long time, otherwise the places of pollution will brighten greatly. But it is not necessary to rinse the thing separately after that. You can just send the jacket to the washing machine.

There are also special sprays that treat greasy areas of clothing. After this treatment, problem areas should be cleaned with a rubber brush.

Shiny patches can be upgraded with Vanish. You can process the fabric with it by rubbing it with a brush and leaving it for ten minutes. After that, the product should be washed in the machine.

A white jacket can be cleaned with gasoline. Colored fabrics are best tested for sensitivity to it by dropping a drop of fuel on the inside of the clothing.

A product made of bologna fabric should be cleaned with this particular product, as other cleaners can ruin the material.After treatment, traces of gasoline should be removed with water or a damp sponge, and the jacket should be hung out in the air to weather the smell.

Greasy suede fabric can be cleaned with ordinary semolina. The jacket should be laid out on a flat surface and sprinkled with this grits, and then gently rub the semolina into the material. After processing, it remains to shake out the remnants of such an unusual cleaning agent from the clothes.

If the jacket has leather inserts, these areas are well washed with water and shampoo. A cap of shampoo should be diluted in a small amount of water and wipe the dirty areas. Then you need to wipe off traces of detergent with a clean cloth. If the dirt could not be completely removed, treat these places with lemon juice or ammonia.

Treatment of spots on the skin with the following composition will also help: four tablespoons of ammonia in a glass of water. After processing, the clothes should dry. Then the skin is advised to lubricate with glycerin. This will update its appearance.

To remove unwanted gloss from the jacket, you can use starch, flour, chalk, soda, talc or salt. Any of these products should be poured onto problem areas and rubbed with a brush, forcing the fat to soak into the cleaning agent.

For greater effect, mix a tablespoon of starch with the same amount of salt and add a little nine percent vinegar to form a pasty mass. It must be applied to the spots and wait a while, then remove with a sponge.

A composition of 0.5 liters of water mixed with one tablespoon of vinegar and the same amount of salt will help get rid of a greasy stain from a down jacket. If a greasy stain has just got on your clothes, you can treat it with a cut potato tuber. The remains of its juice should be washed off with water after two minutes.

There are a number of recipes with which you can return a neat look to clothes at home.

When cleaning the collar with any means, you need to be careful with the fabric, do not stretch it or rub it too hard. Otherwise, the collar will lose its shape and original color.

Process details

To properly wash a winter or autumn jacket in a typewriter, you need to consider many factors. When washing some things, you can not use powder and heat water above a certain temperature.

materials

Modern outerwear is made from a wide variety of fabrics, both natural and synthetic, the handling of which often raises big questions.

An autumn and winter jacket can be created using fur and nylon fabrics, use a water-repellent fabric when sewing, or make it from raincoat fabric.

Each of these materials requires its own special handling:

  • A jacket made of bolognese fabric must be pre-treated from stains, if any, and only then washed at a low temperature.
  • A nylon or puffed jacket can also be washed in non-hot water without wringing.
  • If the outerwear has real fur inserts, it is better to wash it by hand or on the appropriate washing cycle in the machine using liquid detergent.

As a filler for modern jackets, which make them warm, a synthetic winterizer, synthetic winterizer, holofiber, natural down can be used. All these fillings will also determine the washing mode.

Temperature

If we summarize all the information about washing jackets in an automatic type machine, the temperature requirements for washing them are approximately the same. This applies to all of the above materials and even climate-controlled jackets created using the latest technology.

After loading clothes into the drum, you need to set this mode, to wash at 30-40 degrees. More accurate information on this subject, as a rule, is indicated on the tags of the products themselves and in the attached instructions.

What mode?

As practice shows, the best program for washing a jacket in an automatic machine is a delicate wash. It is most suitable for a parka, an ordinary synthetic winterizer jacket and a down jacket made of natural down. Sometimes a hand wash or "synthetics" mode is appropriate.

It is important that the squeezing of things in the selected mode is not carried out at too high a speed. An acceptable mode is squeezing at 400-600 rpm. You can not squeeze things out of natural fluff. You don't have to do this with the park either.

On some synthetic winterizer products, you can also see a ban on squeezing. But even if it is allowed, you should expel excess water from the jacket at the lowest speed. Otherwise, the insulation inside the product will turn into lumps, and the thing will be hopelessly damaged.

Tips & Tricks

To wash a jacket or parka, you first need to prepare it for washing:

  • unfasten all fur elements, if any;
  • remove all the things that are in them from the pockets;
  • make sure that all seams of the product are intact and the fabric is not damaged;
  • fasten all zippers, hooks, buttons, buttons, so as not to damage the washing machine from the inside;
  • turn clothes inside out;
  • put the item in a special laundry bag.

There are special tricks directly for washing jackets in an automatic machine. In order not to spoil the insulation, regardless of the material of the thing, it is better to put special laundry balls, tennis balls or even ball toys designed for animals in the machine along with the clothes themselves. Enough of five or six such items in the drum of the machine.

For washing jackets and parkas in the machine, it is better to choose a liquid detergent, since stains may remain on the product after the process is completed from the usual powder. The selected product should not contain brightening agents.

Drying mode, if it is provided in a particular model of the washing machine, it is better to turn it off. Items such as winter jackets or parkas are best dried in a horizontal position, shaking the product from time to time so that the filling does not lose airiness. First, to prevent excessive dampness, such a jacket can be spread directly in the bath and, pressing on it with your palms, squeeze out excess liquid.

It is not recommended to dry such a product on a heater or under the influence of direct sunlight, since it is possible to spoil the insulation and harm the appearance of clothing.You can hang the jacket outdoors on hangers (in the shade) only when it dries.
