Today there are a large number of models of home slippers, but the most popular are open-toe shoes. I call it very practical, and not by chance, because in such shoes the feet will not freeze in cold weather, thanks to the sole. But even in the heat, the legs will not soar, thanks to the open toe.

Thanks to fashion stylists and designers, as well as talented needlewomen, many types of slippers with an open toe have appeared, the most practical among them are:

• knitted - you can buy them in a store, or you can knit them yourself, but the disadvantage of such shoes is that these slippers tend to slide on smooth surfaces, such as linoleum tiles or parquet;

• textile slippers with polyurethane or rubber soles, the top of them is made of fabric, and the sole of the corresponding material;

• rubber - completely made of rubber or other polymeric materials. Such slippers are non-slip, comfortable when walking, easy to clean, but doctors do not recommend them, because they float like any rubber. And besides, it is simply impossible to warm your feet in them;

• fleece - these slippers are very soft and comfortable, they are warm on a cold floor and the leg breathes well during the heat. This type of shoe can be with a polymer sole, or it can be without a solid base;

• fur slippers without a toe, very warm and soft, comfortable both models without a solid base and with a rubber sole;

• leather models, they have a top, and sometimes the sole is made of leather;

• felt - such models are worn perfectly, they are convenient, comfortable and practical;

• moccasin slippers - they are characterized by an open narrowed toe and a wide heel;

• in addition to these varieties, there are models from other materials.

Many people call shoes with bindings or straps, like flip flops, slippers with an open toe, but this is an erroneous opinion.

Slippers with an open toe are models with a wide strip of material that covers the foot, except for the toe area.

Leather slippers are endowed with excellent quality, leather slippers have a natural soft lining, thanks to which they are considered very comfortable. In addition, the skin is perfectly cleaned and is not so afraid of drops of water or fat, unlike textile models.

Models in the form of animal faces are considered the most fashionable, both children and adults love them very much.

The toe of the shoe, that is, the area of ​​​​the toes is called the toe of the shoe, tailoring options in which the toe is left open are the favorite home shoes for most people.

There are different models of slippers with an open toe, among them there are options with hard or soft soles, textile, woolen or leather uppers, with internal insulation or a thin woven layer.

When buying such home shoes, all personal requirements should be taken into account: if you have cold floors, you should not buy knitted models, it is better to buy fur or fleece slippers with a hard sole.

For carpeting, it is not necessary to take massive indoor shoes; knitted options with an open toe will be practical.

You should not buy open slippers for small children, this is the only category that requires a closed toe and a good fit on the leg.
