Corporate dress code
It just so happened in our society that they meet people by their clothes. In a corporate environment, clothing is also used to judge the presentability of a company. If business suits are chosen in the general style of the company, and all employees are dressed the same, then the company looks more reliable in the eyes of visitors and customers.
That is why a special style of clothing is being developed - corporate. The more competently and thoughtfully it is designed, the more pleasant it is for customers to visit the company, which means that labor productivity is growing. In fact, corporate style is the same dress code that absolutely all company employees must adhere to.
Corporate style of clothing: types and features
Corporate style of clothing is not just a style that implies strict business limits, such as a length below the knee or no neckline. First of all, this is a style that allows you to determine in which structure or area a person works at the first glance at clothes.
Business types of clothing may differ from each other, but they also have much in common. For clarity, consider the three main types of business clothing:
- A strict business style is a blouse with a skirt, a jacket, closed shoes with a small heel and trousers for women, as well as a shirt with trousers and a jacket for men.
- A casual business style also includes wearing a knitted set with high heels or boots. Classic trousers can be worn with turtlenecks under a jacket. Men can wear trousers and a shirt without a jacket.
- Conditionally - business style is the most laid-back. In this case, you can afford to wear jeans and a sweater, a dress of classic length and tights, a skirt just above the knee and a blouse. No jacket needed. The main thing is that the clothes are not too open.
It is worth considering that the strict dress code rules can sometimes be violated or changed. Moreover, changes will even be necessary after some time. In many companies, the transition from one style to another is periodically implied.
What is taken into account when creating business clothes
The concepts of length, rigor and closeness are very reasonable when it comes to business attire. These parameters are generally not violated when creating robes, which is not the case with other parameters, such as color.
Both the appearance of the employee himself and the mood of the client often depend on the color of business clothes. Bright colors usually cause irritation, so the elements of a business wardrobe are created in concise and restrained colors:
It can be burgundy, dark blue, marsh or mustard shades. Often preference is given to classic tones: black, white and gray. Clothes are created mostly without prints, but there may be exceptions in the form of a company logo.
What is invalid
The corporate style does not provide for the presence of revealing outfits in the image. Miniskirts and short dresses with revealing cutouts will be inappropriate here. Luminous blouses and blouses with a deep neckline will also look out of place.
Shorts and breeches are another taboo for business style. The length is allowed either maximum or to the ankle. Beach shorts, shirts, T-shirts and T-shirts are also an unsuitable option.
With special pickiness they always treat business shoes. Shoes with open heels and toes, on a high platform and stilettos are considered unacceptable. Rhinestones, perforation, high tops are taboo for business style.
As accessories, it is forbidden to use bright and catchy jewelry with jewelry. Scarves, ties and laconic jewelry will be the best choice in this case.
