Suede wedge boots
High-heeled boots, of course, should be in every woman's wardrobe.
But wearing them in winter on slippery ice is not always comfortable. Leather or suede wedge boots are a great alternative: they are comfortable, stable and no less elegant.
Wedge heels: types and benefits
The wedge itself can be of different heights - from 2-3 cm to very high. The higher the wedge, the more spectacular the boots look, but the rise of the foot also grows proportionally.
The bevel of the sole can also be different. Without a bevel, the wedge heel completely repeats the foot in width - this is the most stable option. A wedge with a bevel has, as it were, “notches” in the middle. It looks more feminine and sophisticated, but it is more difficult to walk on it.
The rise under the heel can be combined with a completely flat sole, or it can also go into a platform.
In addition to the obvious "plus", wearing comfort, wedge boots:
- Visually thin the ankle. In combination with a high top, it slims the legs.
- They lift the buttocks, making the figure more attractive.
- They add height, especially if the boots are wedges with a platform.
- Allow a woman to feel confident due to stability.
Wedge boots are considered the most diverse in design - the sole is large, and often it becomes an element of decor. The wedge heel can contrast in color with the top of the boot, have spikes, rhinestones or any other decor. All of these are bold options for the exit.
For every day, boots on the rise are suitable, which goes color on color with shoes or on a hidden wedge when it is covered with the same material from which the boot is made. In this case, there is not even a seam between the sole line and the beginning of the wedge - this greatly lengthens the legs.
Also, the wedge can be hidden by the top itself (boots - “pipes”). It looks very extravagant, but with a well-assembled bow - incredibly stylish!
What to wear
Suede wedge boots are great not only for winter, but also for the off-season
True, the delicate material does not tolerate slush. Such a pair will require very careful care! But for dry weather, boots are more comfortable and more beautiful not to be found.
The basic rule of wearing any suede boots is that they are never covered with trousers! First, to show the beauty and texture of the material. Secondly, from friction on the fabric, suede will quickly lose its appearance.
Women's wedge boots are versatile: they will look good with skirts of various lengths, dresses, tight trousers or skinny jeans. A lot depends on the color and style of the boots.
For trips to the office, it is best to choose a base color pair on a mid-height wedge heel with a shaft about to the knee. They will be well combined with coats, fur coats, business dresses and trousers. It doesn't have to be boring black or brown smooth boots: the suede drapes beautifully, and you can pick up a pair with an original design in gray, navy and even burgundy.
For slender and tall girls, black suede boots with hidden wedges will help to make the legs visually endless. Especially when the length of the shaft is above the knee (over the knee boots). They are also not contraindicated for girls of average height: just to visually become taller.
Such boots, of course, attract a lot of attention. Therefore, choosing an image for them, the main thing is not to overdo it. Suede wedge boots go well with babydoll dresses, with closed A-line dresses (neckline and long sleeves). A sweater dress with a cardigan worn over it will look very good. Tights should be chosen in a neutral color and without a pattern. Owners of ideal figures can emphasize their harmony by combining suede wedge over the knee boots with skinny jeans and a voluminous top (knitted jacket, oversized sweater, etc.).
White or light beige suede boots, of course, only for traveling by car and preferably while driving! They look very elegant - pairing them with a white short dress and an elegant coat or an elongated knitted sweater, you can create the image of a real "snow queen"
In 2017, designers took the trend for bright suede shoes. One of my favorites is blue. It can be both bright and “dusty”, gray-blue.
Red or red wedge boots can also become the culmination of the image. Winter options with fur trim look especially beautiful. Both blue and red suede boots can fit into a casual look, but let it be its brightest detail. The rest of the clothes should not be flashy - simple sleek jeans, a beige cardigan, etc.
Designers advise you to definitely hold suede boots in rich colors with at least one small accessory in color: a bracelet, a small handbag, a scarf.
Any suede boots are demanding on themselves: they need not only careful care, but also a competent selection of details. The material looks expensive and emphasizes the status of the owner, so stylists and fashion bloggers advise finding a bag and gloves exactly in color with the boots.Wearing a handbag and shoes of the same color has long been optional, but in the case of suede, it will emphasize your taste. For example, red suede boots with the same color suede bag and gloves can be worn with any coat or jacket: the bow will be completed.
If you can’t find matching suede accessories, knitted or velvet ones will do. These textures complement the fleecy suede very well.
Suede boots are not cheap, so the rest of the accessories should be appropriate. If a scarf, then woolen or silk, if a belt, then from genuine leather. Then your image will be perfect!
