Round hair comb
A round comb for hair styling is an indispensable item in the arsenal of any girl. Not a single beauty salon in our time can do without brushing. So called round combs with bristles. Translated from English, "brush" means "brush". With the help of such a comb, you can add volume at the roots, lay curls while twisting the ends and even straighten your hair.
How to choose
Brushes come in various diameters. The choice of diameter depends on the length of the hair and how you want to style the curls. For short hair, brushes with a smaller diameter are suitable, for long hair, you should choose large round combs. Also, brushes with a small diameter are also suitable for long-haired owners in order to make a lush styling with adding volume at the roots or lay a bang.
In addition to the difference in diameter, round combs are made of various materials. Let's start with the bristles on the brush. It can be made both from natural pile (boar or horse), and from artificial materials. Most often it is bristles made of nylon. There are also combo options that combine both options.
The third point on which brushing should be chosen is the base material. The handle of such combs is made of wood, ceramics, metal or plastic. Ceramic handles are considered one of the most durable, while wooden handles are distinguished by an antistatic effect.The base, made of ceramic, can also be antistatic due to a special coating that is used in the production of such a comb. A nice bonus is the rubberized surfaces at the base, thanks to which the handle does not slip in your hand.
Brashings can be divided into three types:
- Comb-brushing;
- Thermal brushing;
- Hairdryer comb or electric brushing.
If combs - brushes are used in conjunction with a hair dryer, then thermal brushes are nozzles for the device itself. This brush has holes for air supply, thanks to which the hair dries faster. The advantage of thermal brushing is obvious, they free up your hands, allowing you to hold only one device in them (unlike conventional brushing, which is paired with a hairdryer).
Electric brushing is a modern novelty. It looks like a comb-brushing with a wire to connect to the network. The advantage of such a hair dryer is, first of all, the ability to change nozzles. The ability to change nozzles of different diameters on the same base allows you to save space in the apartment. It should also be noted that the comb works, in addition to drying the hair, it spins in both directions, which allows you to easily style your hair in the direction you want.
How to use
First you need to dry your hair by 70-80%, completely wet strands will get tangled around the comb, and styling will take longer. Next, the hair is distributed over strands of medium density and work with each one in turn, while all other curls are stabbed at the roots. You should start from the back of the head. Pull the strands under a stream of hot air, twisting slightly at the ends.
Do not bring the hair dryer close to the hair, otherwise, over time, you will ruin it. The optimal distance is 10-15 centimeters.
Reviews
Having studied consumer reviews of various brushes, it should be noted important qualities that will not allow you to make a mistake with the choice of a comb.
Base. Most reviews note the ceramic base of the ion-sprayed pen. Such a brushing base will last for many years and is convenient to use. Spraying will protect against electrification of hair.
Stubble. Girls who have curly, porous hair are advised to choose a natural pile. In order to give volume, combination or nylon brushes are usually chosen.
Thermal brushing. Ease of use is noted as an advantage. When styling, you do not have to work with a comb and hair dryer at the same time. As a disadvantage, a rather high price category is noted, compared with other types of brushing.
Electric brushes. Consumers note that such brushing is the easiest to use. Unlike a brushing comb, a hair dryer does not require any skills, it is enough just to comb the curls with them from different sides. Another positive quality is the price category. It is several times lower than on hair dryers with a thermal brushing nozzle.
