In the process of creating this type of clothing, fashion designers use dense and warm materials that warm even in the most severe frosts. But what should fashionistas know if they want to choose the warmest coat possible?

Wool coats were considered the warmest at all times, but the difficulty is that coats made of 100% of this material are very rare, and if you can find them, they are fabulously expensive. And the practicality of woolen coats is a big question - with improper care, they immediately decrease in size, and over time roll down and become unmarketable. It is much easier and more correct to purchase outerwear that combines several warm materials at once.

Material such as raincoat fabric performs well in strong winds, so windbreakers and raincoats are most often made from it. In the case of a coat, this material, or rather a product made from it, has to be additionally insulated and the synthetic winterizer does an excellent job with this task. Outwardly, raincoat coats on synthetic winterizer look like simple elongated jackets or down jackets, but designers are always trying to add some zest to the most ordinary clothes.

The material that is traditionally used to create coats is cashmere. Tweed coats gained particular popularity back in Soviet times, and there were reasons for that. The fact is that tweed is nothing more than a combination of viscose, acrylic and wool. This combination makes the product unusually warm and dense. The main advantage of tweed is the originality of the texture. Often it is this material that is decorated with various patterns, making the coat model truly stylish.

Another advantageous combination of wool with synthetic fibers, which allows an excellent coat fabric - drape. Products made from this material are distinguished by their density, thickness and heaviness, but the main distinguishing feature of the drape is its excellent thermal protection. Often such material has a two-layer surface. Velor finish makes the surface of the material soft and velvety.

Few people think that the warming properties of a coat depend not only on the material. An important role is played by the style of a particular model. In winter, experts strongly recommend choosing a loose-fitting coat.Firstly, it will allow you to put on a few more warm clothes under the bottom, and secondly, tight-fitting models themselves are colder than loose counterparts.

The length of the coat is also important for warmth. The best option for winter will be elongated coat models, which are necessarily complemented by a hood. A fur collar, cuffs and other trim elements will also have a beneficial effect on the warming abilities of the garment.
