Camping: what is it, types and rules of conduct

Tourism is associated in modern people with flights to resorts, with train trips and with stops at hotels, or with travel to hard-to-reach uninhabited places. However, there is a middle option - the so-called camping. You need to know what it is.

If we turn to dictionaries, then the main sources interpret it as a camp where people live in the open. In English-language literature, campsites can also be called field camps set up by ordinary travelers or climbers during standard hikes of any category. But in the domestic sense, it is customary to attribute camping to a variety of autotourism.

The bottom line is that people come to rest by car and find a prepared area for leisure at the intended place. All the minimum necessary infrastructure is already there. For obvious reasons, official campsites are located in places with good transport accessibility, where there are beautiful views, but there is no strong city noise.

In the active camping mode, the main goal is the movement itself.In this format, people can move not only on land, but also on water. Travelers go kayaking or riding bicycles. • smoking and drug use while in the camp;
• unauthorized rearrangement of furniture and small architectural forms.

No matter how beautiful nature is, its monotony can be very tiring. On foot, this is especially difficult to bear. Do not think that only a specially equipped motorhome is suitable for camping. Any car that can carry the necessary things will come in handy for this purpose. As for the departure time, experienced travelers are advised to travel on weekdays. Then the tent camps are practically empty and even near settlements are much more secluded.

A very important tip for any traveler is to take an ax with you. It will allow you to do a variety of work with minimal effort. You also need to think about the practicality of clothes and shoes. They should be durable and non-marking, as comfortable as possible in everyday use. Boots with good soles, and in spring and autumn, even boots will be an ideal choice.
