Inside this design, there is enough space for sleeping and for placing essentials. The double berth also determines the standard dimensions of light tents of this type. They usually have a width of 120 cm and a length of 200 cm, there are non-standard options with a size of 150 × 200 cm or 200 × 200 cm.

Canonical parameters are determined by the comfort of one person. It is generally accepted that the optimal width of the bed is 60 cm.The minimum allowable width of the tent for two is 90 cm, while the conditions inside will correspond to the tightness of the placement.
