When buying an expensive watch, you immediately need to look for an additional accessory for them. A watch stand is required for proper storage.

The holder keeps the watch intact, allows it to easily take the desired shape and not be scratched. As a rule, they are divided into several types:

  • the box is in the shape of a box. It fits a lot of additions, and so that the watch is not damaged, there is a separate compartment for them. There are boxes with an additional invisible compartment in which you can easily hide accessories dear to your heart;
  • special hanger attached to the base, and the clock is already on the handles themselves. It can be hung on the wall or just left on the table. The use of the hanger is universal and is suitable for storing not only watches, but also bracelets, hairpins and jewelry;
  • stand - reinforcement, which is located only on the table. Consists of their rounded elongated bars and can easily accommodate a whole collection of chronometers. As a rule, the rack is covered with velvet - this allows you to fix accessories and maintain their integrity. But the bars are recommended to be additionally glued so that they do not fall from the holder;
  • tiered stand has various shapes: round, square, elongated or arched. Each tier is located just above the other and has its own functions.On the first one, rings, earrings, small brooches are stored, on the second - pendants and necklaces, and on the third - watches are placed;
  • sculpture holder is a decorative addition with versatile functions. It can be in the form of a statue, a building, or a glass goblet shape. There are special handles or recesses where you can hang or put the clock.

Color design

Holders are made of glass and metal, which is why neutral and calm shades are used, for example, gray, black and white. Watch owners prefer glass holders and forms without unnecessary details - they easily fit into any interior and design of the room. When choosing a stand, you need to pay attention to:

  • color. It must match the interior. For the Provence style, cream shades, slightly aged design are suitable. But if the design of the room is decorated in modern or high-tech style, it is better to purchase glass holders without unnecessary additions;
  • the form. Can be any - from round to abstract. The most stable are square desktop and hanging specimens;
  • additions – handles, fasteners, accessories. They are required to store jewelry and watches. The stand is considered ideal if there are interchangeable parts, then they can be easily replaced;
  • material. The choice is quite large - glass, metal, wood, plastic. In terms of quality and durability, wood and metal are considered the best.

How to DIY

For any watch, even with automatic winding, you can make a stand yourself. All it takes is some inspiration, a set of tools, and a desire to create.

from wood

Refers to the decorative type of holders and decorates any interior. Would need:

  • tree branches of different lengths (moderate hardness and elasticity);
  • varnish;
  • small brush;
  • fast drying adhesive;
  • wire;
  • sandpaper;
  • knife;
  • several hooks (Needed to fix the holder on the wall).
  • At the first stage, it is necessary to prepare wooden branches - clean them with a knife from the bark, process the top layer with sandpaper to make it soft and uniform. After that, you need to let them dry.
  • The second stage is the formation of the skeleton future stand: on the base (it should be straight, without irregularities), branches should be attached at a distance of 3 to 5 cm from each other. Apply glue to the places of their adhesion and firmly press each part. It is better to use clothespins for this. Waiting time for drying - 3 hours.
  • At the third stage, varnishing is necessary – paint over the entire surface of the decorative holder with a brush in several layers and allow to dry.
  • The last step is to secure the branches with wire (covering in several layers of the base) and adding hooks for hanging on the wall.

Such a holder will not only please the eye and make the room more comfortable, but will withstand watches, hairpins, bracelets and brooches.

In the style of "Retro"

If there are several bottles lying around in the house, a wooden box or a large number of old unnecessary things, then they can easily be used to create decorative masterpieces. Materials can be recycled to create a space that is romantic, Provencal, bohemian or even Scandinavian. What is necessary:

  • two small glass bottles;
  • wooden box (should be a third higher than the bottles);
  • varnish;
  • glue;
  • black paint;
  • tassel;
  • hooks or loops to fix the shelf on the wall.

The box needs to be processed., clean up debris. After decorating with patterns or special symbols on the outside. For this, black paint and a small brush are used. Coat it with varnish and leave to dry for 2-3 hours. On one side, make two holes - a rope will be threaded through them. Next, put the bottles on the glue in the inside. It is advisable to place them close to each other so that there is free space. While the glue dries, you can place a beautiful holder on the wall.

The peculiarity of this delivery is that it can be used on the wall and even on the table. Any watch and bracelets can be attached to the bottles.

The holder can be made from almost any thing or tool - clothespins, hangers, branches or bottles, the main thing is to show a little imagination, then you get a unique addition to the watch.
