Caring for your skin with oils is, first of all, a natural restoration. Flaxseed oil is considered the most saturated with vitamins and microelements. The face needs care, as external factors such as poor ecology, temperature changes and stress affect the skin. The best that can be used are natural ingredients - oils.

Properties

Seed oil has been extracted since ancient times. Flax grew in Egypt, the East and China, from where it came to Europe. The extract was used in ancient times for many diseases, and the plant itself was used to buckle clothes and its seeds were eaten.

A useful substrate from a plant is obtained by pressing. Seeds contain about 70% liquid substance, which is obtained in several ways:

  • cold pressing - represents the highest quality spin, without increasing the temperature. With this method, all useful substances are stored in the oil. The first extraction of the oil is used as a food product, and due to the re-pressing of the cake, an unrefined oil of a cosmetic type is obtained;
  • warm pressing - This is a less sparing way to extract a useful tool. It is based on spinning, with a gradual increase in temperature.The method is used to achieve the maximum squeeze of the product (which is possible due to high temperatures), however, in this case, almost no useful substances are preserved (vitamins are destroyed at high degrees).

The composition of the linen "elixir" includes useful substances:

  • omega 3-6-9 - fatty acids, which are naturally present only in flaxseed oil and fish oil. They are essential (that is, they are not produced by the body), and are necessary for the normal functioning of the whole body. In the absence of these acids in the diet, the skin begins to peel off, thin out and heal worse when damaged. As an additional inclusion, these substances should not only be in the daily diet, but also used in caring for your body;
  • vitamins A, E, F - a set of trace elements that are involved in the synthesis of collagen, restores the protective shell of cell membranes, prevents the formation of free radicals. Fat-soluble elements, when interacting, perfectly heal and refresh the epidermis;
  • B vitamins – restore energy exchange between cells, activate the regeneration of the dermis;
  • tannins - are active antioxidants that affect lipid metabolism, retain moisture inside the cells and cleanse the deep layers of the skin;
  • thiamine - a microelement that restores cells from the inside, smoothes and nourishes the dermis;
  • niacin – promotes the restoration of collagen fibers, increases the tone and elasticity of the epithelium;
  • phylloquinone - a substance that, in reaction with other components, brightens the skin, makes it matte and evens out the tone;
  • choline - Eliminates redness and soothes irritated dermis.

Benefit and harm

Flaxseed oil can have beneficial effects when used regularly.It can be used not only inside, but also as a cosmetic product. The oil can be used as a hair mask, as a body compress, as a massage agent for problem areas of the skin, as a face cream or lotion. In all cases, it is of great benefit.

Flaxseed extract can be used to solve many external skin problems:

  • wrinkles. The tool smoothes out small irregularities on the skin, prevents the premature appearance of mimic wrinkles;
  • age type changes - natural components in the composition of the oil are able to activate the regenerating functions of cells, due to which the skin acquires a healthy, radiant appearance;
  • wilting of the epidermis. Thanks to fatty acids, more oxygen enters the dermis, metabolic processes are restored, which contributes to the transformation of cells;
  • inflammatory processes. The active substances of linseed oil have antiseptic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. They cleanse the skin, dry out minor inflammations, and can prevent the appearance of pimples;
  • skin diseases. With regular use, the oil helps with diseases such as eczema, seborrhea, dermatitis. Tannins restore the protective barrier of the skin, preventing the recurrence of such manifestations;
  • pigmentation (scars, freckles) - Linen has the ability to whiten the skin. Masks help the work of the sebaceous glands, eliminate pigmentation and even out complexion;
  • dryness of the dermis. Moisturizing and nourishing the skin occurs at deep levels, due to volatile substances that are in large quantities in the oil. Due to this, dehydrated skin becomes moisturized, and peeling and unevenness disappear;
  • irritation. A flax-based product soothes the epidermis, promotes the healing of microcracks and wounds.

Due to the large amount of fatty acids, flax oil is a heavy concentrate. It should be used with caution on oily skin (it is better to use it as a component in masks and add a few drops to the cream). Also, the oil may not be suitable for the delicate skin around the eyes - in this case, it is more correct to use peach or almond oil, they are lighter in structure and quickly absorbed.

Mode of application

Flaxseed can be used in a variety of ways. The tool is used for oily and dry types of the dermis, it is used instead of a cream, around the eyes, to rejuvenate aging skin and simply deeply nourish. Masks are used both as pure concentrates and in combination with other components that help get rid of certain problems. For example, for an oily type of dermis, oil-based compresses with special esters can be used. In order to reflect the lifting as much as possible, you need to use pure oil on the entire face.

For skin that suffers from diseases, for example, with rosacea, it is necessary to apply masks with a gentle oil-based composition - the product will narrow the pores and relieve irritation. In addition, there are healing facial massages that have a tightening effect, and together with linseed oil, they act several times more effectively.

To moisturize the epithelium, you can make light lotions with the addition of linseed oil and wipe your face with them. In this case, even skin prone to allergic reactions and severe dryness is nourished and saturated with moisture.
