The use of camphor oil in cosmetology

Many people know about the use of camphor oil for medicinal purposes, but in cosmetology it is a novelty, and many are just beginning to learn about the benefits of this wonderful remedy, but its popularity is growing very quickly.

This product is made from oriental camphor tree. Its properties and effect on the skin are entirely dependent on the chemical composition:

• camphor is a ketone in the terpene series known to be a sedative for the nervous system. This substance is contained in the oil in large quantities, due to which the ether is able to quickly soothe the skin and relieve it of signs of fatigue, even if it is very irritated and inflamed;
• thanks to cineole, camphor has a rejuvenating effect, helps the growth of new young cells, relieves the epidermis of tuberosity and wrinkles;
• the content of safrole in the composition of camphor causes its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect, which is the most important in the treatment of inflammation, acne and pimples on the face;
• pipen is responsible for the extraordinary smoothness of the skin and for its silkiness;
• component such as phellandren is the activation in cells of the process associated with the production of collagen and elastin fibers, which is the reason for the suspension of the already running aging process;
• with camphene, which has a restorative effect, regeneration of damaged tissues occurs;
• the presence of bisabolol makes it possible to improve complexion with the help of camphor and get rid of unpleasant redness and pigmentation;
• with limonene, camphor acquires the ability to make the skin of the face lighter.

Camphor oil in cosmetology has a number of applications and is part of:

• foot creams (sensation of pleasant chill);
• preparations that cleanse the face (helps well with acne problems - blood supply to the skin improves);
• deodorants;
• lipstick;
• cosmetics for face care, improves blood flow and eliminates fine wrinkles;
• shaving balm;
• perfume fragrances.

As part of face creams, camphor is an excellent moisturizer, including in the area of ​​​​the eyes and lips.. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, can be used as one of the components of a mask or lotion, which is prepared independently.

To get a lotion for wiping the face with oily skin, do this:

• take 200 g of water;
• 1 teaspoon of borax powder;
• two drops of camphor and glycerin.

To prepare this composition, take a couple of drops of camphor oil and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sea buckthorn oil. Oils are mixed and applied to skin with unwanted pigmentation (but not around the eyes). An excellent effect will be if such a composition is left on the face all night. Such a mask will moisturize the skin, which means it will get rid of small wrinkles.

In this case, camphor oil is mixed with natural yogurt (200 g and a couple of drops, respectively). The composition must be applied to the skin of the face, hold it there for 30 minutes, then wash (the water should be warm). If you are not too lazy and make yourself such a mask regularly, you can avoid the appearance of wrinkles, age spots and moisturize your skin well.

It will take one yolk and a couple of drops of camphor oil. Everything is mixed, and the composition is applied to the face, excluding the area around the eyes. After half an hour, everything needs to be washed off, the water should be summer - not hot and not cold.

Camphor can simply be added to an already prepared cosmetic product - to lotion, gel or your favorite cream. In adolescence, rubbing the skin with tangerine peel plus a couple of drops of camphor oil (except for the eye area) is useful.

Camphor will be quite an effective remedy in this case. A few drops of camphor oil are added to the anti-aging cream and applied to the skin of the face. The same areas of the face as the skin around the eyes and the contour of the lips are best treated with a mixture of glycerin and camphor oil. Camphor oil as such supplements is an excellent anti-aging agent.

A mask with camphor oil can save your skin from ugly stretch marks, wrinkles and scars. To get the desired effect, the mask must be applied for a month or even longer. Cosmetic compresses containing camphor can be very effective in this case.

If camphor oil is applied to the eyelashes, then care must be taken and a special brush is used to apply mascara. Avoid getting oil in the eye.
