Today, PVC ships are presented in all their abundance. They cover any kind of human activity and can be matched to any wallet. Approaching the very process of choosing a boat, you need to decide for what purposes and how intensively it will be used. It is on these basic characteristics that the choice of a suitable model is carried out.

PVC boats and their characteristics

One of the best boat manufacturing companies is the Korean corporation StormLine, which was founded on the remnants of the Badger. StormLine presents a wide range of inflatable boats on the market. Consider PVC boats that are designed for fishing, hunting and even extreme recreation.

All models listed below can be purchased accessories: anchor, cue, additional mounts, seats/benches, inflatable awnings.

AIR Classic 300

The bottom of this boat is installed on cylinders. This allows you to expand the interior space of the vessel. Due to light weight The AIR Classic 300 is capable of accelerating to high speed without losing maneuverability. Convenient, comfortable design and cockpit allow you to carry out water sorties, unlimited in time. In this model, the errors of the previous ones were foreseen by strengthening the seams, partially armoring the bottom and keel of the vessel, which increased stability on the waves and at the same time increased the carrying capacity.

The shape of the balloon itself is convenient because thanks to it the boat is able to easily go on planing.

Here are the main characteristics and completeness of the vessel:

  • bottom type - inflatable;
  • balloon density - 1200 g / sq. m;
  • bottom density - 1400 g / sq. m;

Stormline Airdeck Standard

Thanks to the high-pressure inflatable bottom, assembling the boat will take you no more than 5 minutes. Blow-off valves in each section from the Italian company BRAVO will protect the vessel from the danger of excessive pressure when pumping air or from overheating in the sun. The Stormline Airdeck Standard model is remarkable in that it has the possibility of easy customization in the form of an optional replacement of the inflatable bottom with floorboards.

And also, one should not forget about the possibility to remove the cue on the move, which will greatly facilitate the passage of the vessel in shallow water areas.

Stormline Adventure Extra

One of the safest PVC boats at the moment. This is due to the increased density of manufacturing materials, a fully armored bottom, a set of blast valves. The design provides for directional stability fins, which provide smooth movement on the water surface. There is a special mat for mounting the fuel tank in the aft part, and a new reinforced aft cut will allow you to put a more powerful engine.

Adventure Extra was designed not only for quiet fishing, but also for hunting or outdoor activities.

We list the equipment and main characteristics:

Other models (with NDND)

Sometimes low-pressure inflatable bottom (LPIB) boats are needed for specific purposes, but trying to find them in stores can be a futile business. That is why we have selected a couple of boats for you - the best in terms of price / quality ratio.

Active 340

The design of the vessel has a special pulley for the anchor, with which you can anchor and remove from it without any problems. A feature of the structure of this boat are asymmetric cones.

They are provided in connection with not the most powerful motor. Asymmetric cones with a relatively small load help to go on planing. The bottom is glued with dense protective strips that will protect the craft from branches and small snags in shallow water. The boats come with benches with a strength of up to 140 kg. Active 340 models are best protected from overheating in the sun and excessive air pressure when pumping due to the absence of blast valves.

Here are the main characteristics of these models:

  • bottom type - NDND;
  • balloon density - 900 g / sq. m;
  • bottom density - 1200 g / sq. m;
  • inflatable keel - available;
  • bottom reservation - by cylinder and cue;
  • disruptive pressure valve in each department is absent;
  • drain valve - available;
  • number of seats - 2;
  • the maximum number of possible passengers is 4 people;
  • tonnage - 520 kg;
  • net weight - 41 kg;
  • the presence of inflatable elements (with a keel) - 4 pcs.;
  • feed cut height - 381 mm;
  • the average throughput of the engine is 9.8 liters. With.;
  • maximum throughput of the engine - 20 liters. With.;
  • total length - 354 cm;
  • side height - 149 cm;
  • length from nose to engine - 238 cm;
  • distance between the sides - 67 cm;
  • board diameter in girth - 40 cm.

Magnum 300

Created by a subsidiary of Globaldryfe, this boat is specially adapted to the Russian market and occupies the niche of budget PVC ships. In the Magnum almost all elements of the boat are inflatable, including seat-cans.

In order not to overload the boat, better to do with 2 crew members. In terms of maneuverability, here the Magnum is inferior to its competitors, as it does not have a keel in the initial configuration, but you can easily install it over time. The vessel is equipped with high-pressure inflatable valves on the cylinders for quick air inflation, as well as a 6 liter pump. For safety, the boat is equipped with external railings made of dense fabric.

Check out the details of this boat:

  • bottom type - NDND;.
  • balloon density - 750 g / sq. m;
  • bottom density - 70 g / sq. m;
  • inflatable keel - absent;

Selection criteria when buying a PVC boat

Often in the store we can get confused and choose a low-quality or inconvenient product for ourselves. In this case, you can spoil your long-awaited vacation, but you will protect yourself from this fate, if you follow the following guidelines.

  1. Pay attention to the presence of a transom (aft cut). This is a transitional part for attaching the engine to a soft fabric. It is usually made from lightweight plywood of various sizes, as a specific type of transom is required for the respective purpose. This usually depends on the size of the reservoir. If this is a lake or a small river, then you need a not very powerful compact motor, which means a small transom. If, for example, this is the sea, then you need a strong motor and a large transom.
  2. Capacity is also very important. Usually boats can carry from 1 to 9 people. It all depends on the scope of its use. If your main goal is fishing, then you will have enough boats for one or two people. And if a family vacation is planned, then the capacity, of course, should be larger.
  3. When choosing a PVC boat, focus on the size of the cylinders. In particular, on their volume, on the material of production and its thickness. It is better to choose cylinders made of Hypalon, neoprene and reinforced PVC.
  4. Examine the vessel for the presence of guardrails both outside and inside. Also do not forget to check the presence of handles around the perimeter of the sides.

In addition, on some boats, special seat belts are immediately included in the kit.If this is not the case, then they must be purchased before the first exit to the water.
