General recommendations
To prevent the appearance of things spoiled by divorces, it is necessary to observe a few simple rules:
- There should be strict sorting of linen. White and light-colored linen should always be washed separately from colored linen. For each type of fabric, you need to use special tools. What is suitable for cotton and linen fibers is not always used for thin delicate materials.
- Before washing, always read the label on the product. There are care instructions. As a rule, the maximum washing temperature is indicated. Do not neglect this information when sending a thing to the washing machine.
- Most experts recommend soaking a new item in water with salt or vinegar added. Both substances contribute to the fixation of dyes on the fibers of the fabric, which means that the risk of spoiling both the thing itself, if it is two-colored, and other products that are washed with it, is significantly reduced.
- Things made of synthetic fabrics are more prone to shedding than products made from natural fibers. Synthetic materials can shed several washes in a row, so it is better to give preference to things made from natural fabrics or wash synthetic clothes separately from other models to avoid stains.
