A warm spring day or a hot summer time is a great occasion to get out into nature, enjoy the freshness of the air and delicious food taken for a picnic. All this is truly wonderful, but this pastime often has an unpleasant side later - green grass stains on clothes, left as if in memory. Usually it falls to your favorite jeans, because it is in them, so versatile and comfortable, that many people go on such a vacation.

However, such an “accident” is not at all a reason to throw away a wardrobe item, since grass can be washed off, and in a variety of ways. It remains only to choose the most suitable one.

Little tricks

Although this is possible, it is unlikely that it will be possible to quickly remove the pollution, because the greenery contains a special pigment, which, when it hits the fabric, rewards it with its own green color. But there are a few tips that will increase the speed of getting rid of your favorite thing from stains, and it does not matter which cleaning option to use:

  • it is strongly not recommended to delay. You should start getting rid of this trouble as soon as possible, ideally - right from the moment it was discovered, otherwise the process will become much more complicated;
  • it is contraindicated to try to scrub the stain with water. The desired result will still not be achieved and will even turn out to be the opposite - the penetration of the pigment will only become deeper;
  • having the opportunity to use a special tool that removes grass, it is better to use it.

Despite the effectiveness of specialized chemical products, not everyone has them at home, and you need to act quickly so as not to turn the stain from fresh to old. Therefore, various improvised means come to the rescue in this struggle.

Hydrogen peroxide

Not only is it cheap and will stop bleeding, but it can also remove green stains from jeans. All that is needed is a couple of drops of the product on the item and about an hour of time for the peroxide to complete its task. After that, you can already use, for example, a washing machine. But still, this option is more suitable for lighter clothesbecause divorce is possible.

Baking soda

This product is familiar to many. Soda is used both in cooking and in household chores, but not everyone knows that it can also rid jeans of dirt. This procedure is extremely simple: a couple of tablespoons of soda dissolves in water, forming a slurry, which is then treated with a stain. Next, you should leave the thing in this state for at least an hour, but you can try rubbing the treated area with your hand, doing it as carefully as possible., and wash.

Vinegar

Wine or table - there is no fundamental difference, you can just take the one that is present in the kitchen. Stubborn dirt is not a problem with vinegar, and it will make your jeans look like new.There are two whole ways here: having a really lot of product, you can soak a thing in it for about 60 minutes; but the result will be no worse if you simply rub the stain with a brush, after moistening it with vinegar, and then proceed to the usual washing.

In the case of fighting the old "greens", it is recommended to combine the forces of soda and vinegar. After dropping vinegar on soda, you should treat the stain with maximum speed until the resulting chemical reaction has come to an end, and send the wardrobe item to be washed off.

Toothpaste

Plain toothpaste (white, no colored elements) and an old oral hygiene brush are another weapon in the fight against grass. It is only required to apply a little paste on the stain with a brush and wait about half an hour for it to dry. After that, it remains to remove what the paste has turned into and wash the clothes.

Tooth powder, previously diluted with water to the desired consistency, is also suitable.

Alcohol solutions

Ammonia does an excellent job of dealing with the effects of a long walk, doing it extremely effectively. In this case, again, no special efforts are required. You need to take about 200 ml of warm water and dilute a teaspoon of alcohol in it, treat dirty jeans with the resulting liquid and leave them for 30 minutes. Then it is important to apply soap to the "green" area and leave the thing again, now for 60 minutes. When all the stages are completed, it remains to use the washing technique. It is worth paying attention that alcohol is very different:

  • ammonia;
  • ethyl;
  • regular vodka.

There is a chance that the stain will not disappear after the first procedure, even if everything was done correctly. In this case, you do not need to lose heart and go to the trash with jeans.Repeated actions will certainly get rid of the problem completely.

Hot water

It is quite possible that none of the listed products is nearby, for example, on a hike or in the country. But even from it there is a way out - you can literally wash the stain with water, or rather, with maximum boiling water. Here you only need to water the pollution and, if possible, rub the dirt with laundry soap, watching the subsequent magical result.

Salt

If during the camping trip no one thought to take soap with them, standard table salt, fine or coarse, will certainly come to the rescue - it does not matter at all. This product can also be handled in two ways: pour salt on a stain soaked with plain water or initially soak it in water, and moisten the place of contamination with the resulting solution, not sparing it.

It will not be superfluous to use any brush when applying.

Lemon

Both fresh juice of a real lemon and citric acid will work great here. Processing with one of these products (citric acid must first be dissolved in a small amount of ordinary water) will not take much time, and then only half an hour should pass, after which, after removing the remnants of the product, you can safely wash your favorite clothes.

Laundry soap

Once upon a time, this tool enjoyed popularity worthy of its cleansing power, but in recent years it has been unfairly relegated to the background. This is very in vain, since laundry soap perfectly fights complex pollution, the main thing is to learn how to use it correctly. In fact, you do not need to have any special knowledge.

It is enough to soak the thing in hot water (it is better to study the tag and check what the highest temperature the jeans can withstand) for a couple of minutes, and then treat the necessary place well with soap and leave the pants overnight in the resulting state. In the morning, all that remains is to send them to the laundry with powder.

Other options

Having the fear of not coping and still losing your favorite wardrobe item, you should find a specialized bleach for colored fabrics and use it by studying the instructions on the package. If this task cannot be completed in any way, you can replace the product with any washing powder, dilute it with water, apply it on a green trail and go about your other business for a couple of hours. When the time comes to an end, the next step will be washing appliances.

Fortunately, there are so many cleaning methods that it is simply impossible not to get rid of the grass imprint, therefore, you can not worry and calmly communicate with nature.
