Light Dep Cream
Any woman who has ever done waxing knows how painful and unpleasant it is. Cosmetologists took this moment into account and developed Light Dep cream, which is designed to anesthetize the area of manipulations in order to reduce skin sensitivity.
Advantages
This cream really helps to relieve pain during the procedure to remove unwanted vegetation on the skin. It is made in two types - for the face and for the body.
This allows it to be applied everywhere - from the eyelids when plucking the eyebrows and ending with the bikini area and legs.
The action of the cream is comparable to injections of lidocaine, only it does not need to be injected. The agent does not penetrate into the deep layers of the epidermis, which means it is not absorbed into the blood.
The cost of the cream is very low compared to its counterparts. It costs within 870 rubles for a tube of 30 ml.
It is available in 15 ml, 30 ml for home use and in a 300 ml dispenser bottle for use in beauty parlors.
This product can be used not only for cosmetic purposes, but also for medical purposes. It will help reduce pain before injections, anesthetize epidermal tissue near a wound or scratch.
This product has no contraindications, except for individual intolerance. Its composition is hypoallergenic, approved for use even during pregnancy and lactation.
But using Light Dep cream is often not recommended. It is necessary to evaluate its effect on the skin, and at the slightest redness or burning, stop using it.
Compound
The composition of the Light Dep cream, which is stated on the package: water, anestoderm, carbomer, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, phenoxyethanol, sodium hydroxide, ethylhexylpropanediol.
The main anesthetic is anestoderm - the development of laboratory technicians of the company that produces this product.
It is known to contain a number of the following ingredients.
- Lidocaine - an excellent anesthetic that effectively affects the dermis, gives a quick result. Helps to cope with pain, burning. Less dangerous and allergic than novocaine, has a longer effect.
- prilocaine - Another anesthetic substance that has a local effect. Its action is directed to the nerve impulses that it blocks. Prilocaine does not act as quickly as the previous ingredient, but it softens the negative effects of lidocaine.
- Tetracaine - a local anesthetic that also blocks pain and discomfort. Often used by dentists, gynecologists, ophthalmologists when it is impossible to use lidocaine. Epinephrine has a vasoconstrictive effect, is an antiallergic agent. Reduces the formation of redness and irritation in the treated area, prevents the formation of puffiness.
How to use
Initially, when using the cream, you need to check the skin for sensitivity to the components. To do this, apply a small amount of the product to the elbow. After that, evaluate its effect for 15 minutes. If you experience redness, burning, itching, then you must immediately wash off the composition and do not use the product for local anesthesia. If no reaction followed, this cream may well be used.

- Next, dry your skin with a towel.
- Apply Light Dep cream with a cosmetic disc or sponge on the treated surface of the dermis.
- You have to keep adding new layers.so that the composition does not have time to dry out. But there is another way to use it - apply a thick layer of the product and wrap it with cling film.
- Wait 15 to 60 minutes for the cream to work. This difference depends on your pain threshold and the place where you are going to epilate.
- When the desired effect is achieved and the skin is "frozen", it is necessary to wash off the remnants of the product or wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth. The second way will prolong the action of the cream.
- After that, you can carry out manipulations with the skin.
According to the manufacturer, this cream lasts up to 4 hours.
