Every girl wants her legs to always look neat and well-groomed, and in the presence of corns or ingrown nails, a pedicure becomes a necessity. Previously, the masters provided the services of a female hardware or edged (classic) pedicure, but the beauty industry offers more and more new procedures, and not so long ago a new way to put your feet in order has appeared - a combined pedicure. This means that the cuticle is removed with scissors or tweezers, and the feet and fingers are polished with a special device.

How good is this technique?

This method favorably combines the advantages of hardware and edged options. Combi-pedicure took safety from hardware, and thoroughness of processing from edged. Grinding the feet with a machine reduces the likelihood of injuries on the skin - a sharp scraper is much more dangerous in this regard. At the same time, the classic processing of the fingers is quite thorough.

An important advantage of the combined technique is a noticeable effect, and the result will last for a long time.

After a trimmed pedicure, new corns appear much faster. The whole job will take about an hour if you don't plan to cover your nails. If desired, all this can be done at home - with the necessary tools.

With all the positive aspects of combi-pedicure, negative consequences can also occur.First of all, this applies to the situation when you got an appointment with an inexperienced master, so before starting, be sure to ask for a diploma that confirms the relevant qualifications. Insufficiently thorough execution technology will affect the quality of the result, and grinding wet skin is completely dangerous.

Who suits?

The combi-pedicure procedure is suitable for those who:

  • has very sensitive skin, which is easily injured during a classic pedicure;
  • wants to get rid of calluses and corns;
  • considers hardware pedicure too “soft”;
  • has an overgrown cuticle that is difficult to remove with a machine alone.

Using the machine and tools, you can get the desired result, regardless of the condition of the skin. There is also SPA treatment. It includes the use of natural ingredients: minerals, extracts of medicinal plants.

Process

The procedure in question is rather complicated and therefore requires the master to competently perform the process step by step and knowledge of the theory of both hardware and classical technology.

First, the instruments, the hands of the master and the feet of the client are disinfected. Some carry out all the manipulations right in front of the client, so that there are no doubts about the sterility of the devices. Next, the master examines the feet to understand what to pay special attention to, and also discusses additional procedures with the client - for example, nail polishing.

An important step is a foot bath - in order to cleanse and soften the skin for further processing. Essential oils or sea salt, soap shavings are added to the water. Then the master applies a salt, sugar or mineral scrub and massages the feet.Next, the legs need to be wiped well and be sure to let them dry, only after that you can start grinding the feet with a special device. If the skin is too rough, you should first remove the keratinized layer with a pedicure file or scraper.

In the process of hardware processing, different nozzles are used: the upper hard layer is removed with a rough abrasive, and a soft final polishing helps to make the skin smoother. The master grinds the heels, fingers and the area under them with the apparatus.

The next item is the processing of the nail plates. The master removes the cuticle, and this can be done in two ways. In the first case, the cuticle is softened with a special tool, moved away and cut off with scissors, in the second case, hardware grinding is carried out. The master removes the old coating from the nails (if any), cleans and files the nails.

The final touch is a foot massage with the application of a nourishing cream.

Hardware pedicure «Gehwol»

Steaming the feet is not always the best way to soften the skin, as it can provoke such an unpleasant thing as a fungus. In addition, some people simply do not like to put their feet in hot water. For these cases, there is an excellent alternative - Gehwol pedicure. What is the essence: a special foam softener is applied to the feet, which is washed off after 5-7 minutes along with the remnants of keratinized skin. If it does not cope with too rough skin, its top layer is first removed with a scraper.

It is important not to overexpose the softener on the skin for longer than the prescribed time, as the fruit acids contained in its composition can cause a burn.

Coating

The current trend is to cover the nail plate with gel or gel polish.Since the coating on the legs lasts much longer than on the hands, you can use a regular varnish.

Fashion dictates certain conditions to us - for example, it is believed that the design of manicure and pedicure should be the same (or at least similar colors). Many people like the design using rhinestones, stickers or unusual patterns. Whatever design you choose, for a truly worthwhile result, it is better to turn to professionals.

Reviews

Those people who have not yet experienced all the advantages of a combined pedicure and are still in doubt should listen to the opinions of those who are already enjoying the result with might and main.

Girls who have tried combi pedicure generally agree. Interviewed clients happily note the long-term result of the procedure and absolute painlessness. Well-groomed feet give confidence, they are less prone to infections. Girls also note the relatively short time spent in the salon.

The disadvantages of the respondents include a feeling of tickling during processing with a machine, as well as unpleasant consequences when accidentally contacting a non-professional.

Take the choice of a master as seriously as possible.

I do my own pedicure at home. And for foot care I use the keratolytic "Uroderm", which contains 30% urea. After it, the skin of the feet is very easy to process, then you need to apply a nourishing foot cream.
