The composition of this product is almost always completely natural, only in coloring agents, coloring pigments are additionally present. A distinctive feature of this product is the possibility of using it as a shampoo or hair conditioner. This use of henna is especially recommended for owners of too oily and damaged strands.

All products of the ArtColor company sold today are divided into three groups: natural, colorless and coloring. Each variety has its own characteristics in use, which should be studied in more detail.

regular henna

This type of tool is classic. The peak of its popularity fell on the years of perestroika, however, even today it is in high demand. This product contains only natural Iranian henna. You can use it both for dyeing strands in a natural red color, and for their general recovery, accelerating growth and increasing volume. The resulting shade is natural, fiery red. The result of regular use are bright, beautiful, soft to the touch, without dandruff and split ends, but with an attractive strand volume.

To use the powder, you must first pour boiling water to the consistency of thick sour cream and leave for 20 minutes. Then apply to the entire length of the hair and gently massage. Rinse afterwards with plenty of warm water. When used as a mask, leave henna on curls for no more than 30 minutes, then rinse with water. If henna is an alternative to shampoo, then after applying to the hair, scalp and strands themselves, it is necessary to thoroughly massage and rinse from the hair.

colorless henna

This product is very attractive for all women who want to experience the benefits of this hair product, but are not ready to change the shade of their strands. Such henna is white due to special processing. It is sold in the form of a white powder. The main purpose is to strengthen, accelerate growth, fight dandruff and split ends of hair. Most often, this product is used in the form of masks or shampoo. To prepare the finished mixture, the powder must be diluted with boiling water to the density of sour cream and add a little 6% vinegar to the mixture. In an acidic environment, henna reveals its beneficial properties more strongly.

The resulting slurry in a warm form is applied to wet hair, massaged and washed off. If the mixture is used as a mask, then other components can be additionally added to it. The resulting mask is applied to the entire length of the hair, wrapped in a towel and left on 15-40 minutes after which it is washed off. Such light henna makes curls soft, shiny and very voluminous. The strands themselves stop thinning, their growth intensifies, the structure of each hair is not only restored, but also thickens.

Tinted henna

This product has become a real find for those women who like to experiment with their hair color, but at the same time worry about their health. This is a kind of henna-based paint, which has a low level of durability and all the beneficial properties of this plant. The composition of this product, in addition to the powder of the plant of the same name, also contains coloring pigments and natural vegetable oils. Such paint goes on sale in the form of a powder, which, as in previous cases, must be diluted with boiling water.

It is recommended to apply the mixture only on clean, damp hair. The exposure time directly depends on the chosen shade of such paint, the original hair color and the presence of gray hair. In the presence of a very large amount of gray hair, the exposure time of henna is at least one hour. If gray hair is present in small quantities, the mixture is left on the strands for at least 45 minutes. In all other cases, the minimum time the paint is exposed to the strands is half an hour.Colored henna is washed off with plenty of warm water without the use of detergents. Today, the palette of shades of this product is presented in the following shades:

  1. "burgundy".
  2. "ruby".
  3. "chocolate".
  4. "chestnut".
  5. "bronze".
  6. "mahogany".

The lightest shade is “chestnut”, the darkest is “chocolate”, and the most unusual is “mahogany”. Such a rather large color palette makes it possible for a large number of women to replace their usual hair dye with a more natural and useful henna-based product.
