The color range and variations of patterns for knitted ties are diverse, so every man can choose what suits both his outfit and his mood. Basically, there are options for dark shades: dark blue, dark green, black, burgundy, gray or brown.

This is most likely due to two things:

1. such a tie is more often worn in the cold season, and this period is characterized by darker and deeper colors,
2. The color of the tie should not be darker than the color of the shirt.

Since knitted ties are found in the collections of mass brands and famous fashion houses and top couturiers, the materials for knitting them are also different:

Another attribute of formality is a tie clip; for a knitted tie, this is a good addition. The clip is convenient to put on due to the fact that such a tie does not have a lining. A silver metal option with a small width, about half a tie, would be suitable.
