Rules of conduct on board the aircraft
Any journey is a joyful and slightly exciting event, it always brings new sensations and expands horizons. Before you get to one or another corner of our country and beyond its borders, you have to make a flight. To do this, you need to know the rules of conduct on board the aircraft.
Important information
Let's outline the main aspects that every passenger should know.
- In the cabin of the aircraft, each passenger must take his seat. You can not block the passage and prevent other passengers from going to their seats.
- Carry-on luggage must be properly positioned. To do this, there are special shelves above the seats, which must be carefully closed so that they do not accidentally open during the flight when entering the turbulence zone. Do not allow any of the passengers to be injured.
- Hand luggage can be placed under the seat in front of the seat, if dimensions allow.
- Passengers should familiarize themselves with the memo on how to act in case of emergency, which is located in the pocket of the seat in front of them.
- It is necessary to listen to information from the flight attendant, who introduces the location of emergency exits, the rules for using an oxygen mask, and also tells how to properly fasten the belt and behave throughout the flight.
- During takeoff, the seats must be in an upright position, the passenger must be fastened.
- As soon as the aircraft reaches the desired height, a corresponding message will appear on the scoreboard. In order to avoid unpleasant situations, it is recommended not to unfasten the seat belts throughout the flight.
Mobile phones and other gadgets should be turned off during takeoff and landing, as well as, if necessary, during the flight, if such information is received from the pilot. After the crew commander has reported that the aircraft has gained altitude, you can move around the cabin if necessary (for example, if you need to visit the toilet).
What is impossible?
In addition to the rules, there are also restrictions. On board the aircraft it is prohibited:
- smoking (this also applies to electronic cigarettes);
- drink alcoholic beverages (with the exception of those offered by flight attendants);
- create a situation that poses a threat to others;
- violate the comfort of other passengers by inappropriate behavior.
Otherwise, the flight attendant has the right to take action and pass the relevant information to law enforcement. During the flight, each passenger is required to comply with the order. The requirements of the aircraft commander must be fulfilled unquestioningly.
Jokes, as well as deliberately false reports about impending terrorist attacks, are qualified as a crime for which you can be punished by a fine of up to two hundred thousand rubles.
If a passenger behaves inappropriately, insults passengers or flight attendants, gets into a fight, he can be removed from the board, the crew commander will have to make an emergency landing. Passengers must be polite to each other: rules of etiquette are obligatory. On the places located near the emergency exit, it is impossible to place:
- children under the age of twelve;
- pregnant women;
- passengers with animals;
- people with disabilities.
In the event of an emergency, passengers in these seats must assist the crew. Therefore, you need to be prepared for the fact that the flight attendant may ask you to take another seat.
What does a beginner need to know?
If you are going to fly for the first time, you need to know that you should arrive at the airport three hours before check-in. Most airlines conduct online check-in for their flights in advance, but for the first time it is more difficult to do, so it is better to go through the whole procedure at the airport.
- The airport building is easy to navigate. In the waiting rooms, boards are lit, which indicate all flights and the numbers of counters where check-in is made for a particular flight.
- After check-in, you need to go to the landing, where the airport staff will always tell you the algorithm of actions if there are any difficulties.
- On the plane itself, you may have to experience sensations that were previously unfamiliar.
- During takeoff and landing, it can lay ears, which is associated with a pressure drop. There is nothing wrong with this, you need to have candy with you, then this period is easier to endure, it does not last long. As soon as the plane gains altitude, everything will return to normal.
Children are especially uncomfortable. Older children can be distracted by playing games or reading books. It is better to rock the kids, so it will be calmer for both them and their parents. During the flight, you can watch a movie, listen to music, many companies offer such services. No less exciting activity is to look out the window.
During the flight, passengers are offered soft drinks and hot breakfasts, lunches or dinners, depending on the time of the flight.During the flight, situations may arise when the aircraft enters the turbulence zone (the aircraft begins to shake). Do not panic at such moments: turbulence does not pose a threat to passengers. At these moments, it is important to follow the recommendations of the aircraft commander (fasten your seat belts and do not leave your seat).
When the plane lands, the discomfort may recur. It is strictly forbidden to leave your seat before landing and a complete stop of the aircraft. At the end of the flight, you should carefully inspect your seat and luggage rack so as not to forget your things on board.
Don't be in a hurry to get out. Flight attendants will let you know when you can leave the plane.
