In such a fuss, it is very easy to forget to get something necessary and really necessary, so you should definitely make a list of the main things that a newborn and his mother simply cannot do without. Close people most often try to find a beautiful gift set of clothes for a newborn, and expectant mothers get everything they need to take with them to the hospital. Some families believe in old signs and traditions, according to which it is forbidden to buy things for the baby in advance, but in ancient times, needlewomen always, preparing for the birth of a baby, spun, sewed and wove a dowry for him. But now there is no need to make baby clothes by hand, since all clothes for newborns can be bought in specialized stores or ordered online without leaving home.

It is often very difficult for future parents to decide what kind of things to buy and how many things a baby will need, because babies grow by leaps and bounds.It is better to decide on the list of necessary things during maternity leave. Having decided what kind of things you need to buy for a child, pay attention when choosing them to the material and the presence of a wide enough neck for the neck so that the neckline does not rub it. Clothing that has soft material ties instead of buttons and zippers is best suited.

On top of a thin cotton vest, you need to wear flannel children's shirts or blouses, and so that both halves slightly cover each other in front. As a mom-to-be, you can't do without the thinner, thicker, insulated diapers you need to wrap your baby in.It is necessary to buy diapers, which, like other clothes, are made of natural materials, and their shape should be a rectangle about ninety by seventy centimeters in size. Diapers are usually needed only in the first days after the baby is born.

The amount of clothes that you will need to purchase for a newborn depends primarily on whether you are going to use disposable diapers or, conversely, whether you are ready to wash a lot of clothes and often enough. In addition, you should consider whether there is a person next to you who is able to provide constant washing and ironing of things for the baby. If you are going to use diapers daily, then about five to seven complete sets of baby clothes will suffice, but if you use gauze and diapers instead of disposable diapers, you will need about twice as many sets of clothes for a newborn.

Experienced mothers advise not to buy too many diapers and baby undershirts, since diapers will only be needed for the first couple of weeks, and after that they will only be suitable to lay them on the surface that you will use to change the baby. As for the undershirts, the child needs this item of clothing only during the first month of his life, no more. After the baby becomes more active, he will involuntarily lift them up, and therefore you will need baby bodysuits, which are T-shirts or baby shirts with rivet closures between the legs. Such clothes are very comfortable not only for the baby, but also for his mother, because such fasteners simplify the process of dressing and undressing.In addition, a wide range of such clothes is presented: from warm long-sleeved ones for use in the cold season to thin cotton sleeveless jackets suitable for warm weather.

Many too caring parents get mittens for their baby so that the baby himself does not scratch with his nails. But many experts strictly forbid young mothers to purchase this item of clothing, because it dulls the tactile sensations of the child and, as a result, the development of the baby slows down. The baby, whose hands are hidden in mittens, cannot clearly feel warm and cold, hard and soft. Therefore, you should not buy children's mittens, it is better to try to cut your nails as often as possible if you are afraid that your baby may be scratched by them.

An important and really necessary thing for a newborn is sliders. When choosing this item of clothing, try to purchase elongated sliders that have fasteners or ties in the shoulder area. The sliders, which are fixed on the body of the baby with the help of elastic bands on the tummy, are less preferable, since they will slip off at the first sharp movements of the legs.

As for the headgear for your baby, it should be noted that experts do not advise buying bonnets with ties on the chin for the baby, as they are very uncomfortable, the ties literally eat into your baby's neck. It is best to get a pair of ordinary round hats, one of which will be quite thin and will be made of cotton, and the second will be warmer, made of wool. In rooms with air temperatures above eighteen degrees Celsius, experts do not recommend wearing a hat.It is better to use baby hats for walks or put them on after taking a bath.

In order not to torment yourself with worries at night and not to check if your baby has unraveled, you should purchase a special sleeping bag. This is a kind of "sleeping bag" for newborns, which is fastened with a zipper. When your baby is a little older, you can get a sleeping bag that has sleeves and a hood. In order to go out with your baby for a walk, a sleeping bag insulated with fur is perfect for you, which will reliably protect your child from the cold. If you do not have such a sleeping bag, you can replace it with a warm blanket or woolen blanket.

For the first time after the birth of the baby, you need to acquire sets of sterile baby clothes. Many mothers are wondering what kind of things and in what quantity the newborn will need. This important list should include the following: seven to ten thin diapers, about five thin diapers, a sheet that has a hood to wrap the baby after bathing, bodysuits fastened in front, made exclusively from natural materials in the amount of five to seven pieces, three to four thin and thick undershirts, a pair of thin round hats and one insulated hat for walking, about five pairs of sliders, a sleeping bag for home and for walking, about three thin cotton overalls, at least one warm winter overall for outdoors, a pair of sheets and a pair of duvet covers for a crib, and, of course, baby diapers, about seven to nine pieces for one day.
